PUBLIC HEARING ON APPLICATION FOR SPECIAL USE PERMIT FOR THE UPPER SARANAC LAKE MARINA: NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON APPLICATION FOR  SPECIAL USE PERMIT FOR THE UPPER SARANAC LAKE MARINA (FORMERLY KNOWN AS HICKOK’S MARINA)   PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town of Santa Clara Planning Board will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, beginning at 9:00 AM at the Santa Clara Town Hall, 5367 State Route 30, Saranac Inn, New York, 12983 on an application from USL Marina, LLC, for a  Special Use Permit for the Upper Saranac Lake Marina (formerly “Hickok’s Marina”).  The requested Special Use Permit would allow replacement and expansion of boat docks at the Upper Saranac Lake Marina on Fish Creek Pond in the Town of Santa Clara. At the Public Hearing, all interested persons will be given an opportunity to be heard. Comments may be submitted in writing at that time if desired. Comments may also be submitted in advance by email to the Planning Board Chair at [email protected] or mailed to the following address: Santa Clara Planning Board Chair, 5359 State Route 30, Saranac Lake, New York, 12983.  Whether sent by U.S. mail or email, comments must be received no later than 5:00 PM on May 23, 2022 in order to be considered.  A copy of the application for  Special Use Permit is on file for public inspection during regular business hours in the Town Clerk’s Office at the Santa Clara Town Hall, 5367 State Route 30, Saranac Inn, New York, 12983. A copy may be obtained at no charge from the Town Clerk upon request. Notice is hereby given that the Assessor of the Town of Santa Clara, County of Franklin has completed the tentative assessment roll for the current year and that a copy has been left with the Town Clerk at the Town Clerks office. Due to the current Covid 19 pandemic, the Tentative Assessment Roll will only be available to view online at the Franklin County website below.

On May 4 and May 11 between the hours of 8:00 am and 12:00 noon and May12 between the hours of 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm.

The Board of Assessment Review will meet May 26, 2022 between the hours of 5pm and 9 pm at the Town of Santa Clara Town Hall, 5367 St. Rt. 30 Saranac Inn, NY to hear and examine all complaints in relation to assessments, on the application of any person believing themselves to be aggrieved.
