NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

ON PROPOSED LOCAL LAW TO REGULATE SHORT-TERM RENTALS OF RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY IN THE TOWN OF SANTA CLARA

 PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Santa Clara Town Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday, June 8, 2023, beginning at 5:00 PM at the Santa Clara Town Hall, 5367 State Route 30, Saranac Inn, New York, 12983 concerning proposed Local Law No. 1 of 2023.   The proposed local law is for the purpose of regulating short-term rentals of residential property in the Town of Santa Clara.

 At the Public Hearing, all interested persons will be given an opportunity to speak and comment on the proposed Local Law. Comments may also be submitted in writing at that time if desired. Comments may also be mailed to the Town Clerk in advance of the Public Hearing to the following address: Santa Clara Town Clerk, 5359 State Route 30, Saranac Lake, New York, 12983, or sent by e-mail to the following address: [email protected].  Comments sent by U.S. Mail or by e-mail must be received no later than 5:00 PM on June 7, 2023 in order to be considered.  A copy of proposed Local Law No. 1 of 2023 is on file for public inspection during regular business hours in the Town Clerk’s Office at the Santa Clara Town Hall, 5367 State Route 30, Saranac Inn, New York, 12983. A copy may be obtained at no charge from the Town Clerk upon request. A copy is also available on the Town’s website: townofsantaclara.com under the “News and Notices” heading.
