Assessor Equalization Rate Change Public Meeting

When:  Ocotber 14, 2025  6:00 P.M.

Where:   Santa Clara Town Hall Community Room, Saranac Inn

Due to this year’s equalization rate change and the subsequent rise in the school tax rates, I have received a large volume of calls from concerned taxpayers wondering what is going on.  I will be holding a holding a public information session on October 14th at 6pm at the Santa Clara Town hall to discuss the issue and try to answer any questions. I will also make a brief presentation at the Santa Clara regular board meeting on October 9th. Attached is a document showing how the rates are equalized within the school district and the change from the previous year. I will be going over what this means and what the taxpayers can expect going forward.

Please share this with any concerned taxpayers who may want more information, and in the meantime please feel free to contact me at 315-681-1556 with any questions.
